South Carolina Highway 31 is a north-south freeway bypass of U.S. Route 17 to the west of Myrtle Beach, linking highways 9 and 707 and featuring interchanges with Highway 22 and U.S. Route 501, and opened in phases between 2003 and 2019. It will be a part of Interstate 74 in the future.
