Interstate 895
Interstate 895, the Harbor Tunnel Thruway, was the first freeway to run through Baltimore, opening in 1957 and considerably pre-dating Interstate 95 through the city. It is a tolled highway whose centerpiece is the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel, since complemented by I-95's larger Fort McHenry Tunnel. I-895 was not actually an Interstate until the late-1970s.
