U.S. Route 117

U.S. Route 117 runs 114 miles from Wilmington to Wilson, North Carolina. From just north of Wilmington to Faison, in Sampson County, it is parallel to Interstate 40. It is a freeway between Mount Olive and the south side of Goldsboro, while its remainder to Wilson parallels Interstate 795. US 117 has two business routes, an alternate route in Duplin and Wayne counties south of Goldsboro, and a connector between I-40 and the Calypso area of Duplin County.
